Use of Simulation in BN Programs Survey

The Nurses Association of New Brunswick is currently reviewing the Education Standards for BN programs.

Under the current standards, students in the BN program must have 1400 clinical hours, and of those hours no more than 10% can be spent in the lab or in simulated learning experiences. We are currently not replacing any clinical placement time with simulated learning.

The Université de Moncton and the University of New Brunswick are seeking information about how simulation is being integrated into other BN programs across Canada in an effort to provide a comparative analysis.

Please respond to the following survey by Sept 25th, 2017. Thank you in advance for your help.
